  Israeli forces continue systematic crimes in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt)   (06 – 12 August 2015)   Israeli forces killed a Palestinian civilian, southwest of Ramallah in excessive use of force.   Sa'ed Dawabsha died of burns he sustained due to settlers' attack, southeast of Nablus.   Israeli forces continued to open fire at border areas along the Gaza Strip, and a child was wounded in the northern Gaza Strip.   Israeli warplanes raided a training site of a Palestinian armed group in the central Gaza Strip. 4 Palestinian police officers were injured as rubble scattered around and windows of 4 houses were damaged.   Israeli forces continued to use excessive force...

Israeli forces continue systematic crimes in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt)   (30 July – 05 August 2015)   Israeli forces killed 2 Palestinian children in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.   A Palestinian toddler was burnt to death and his parents and brother were injured by settlers in Douma village, southeast of Nablus.   Israeli forces continue systematic crimes in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt)   (09 – 14 July 2015)   Israeli forces continued to use excessive force against peaceful protests in the West Bank. A Palestinian child sustained wounds during Kufor Qaddoum weekly protest, northeast of Qalqilia. A Palestinian civilian was wounded in Shu'fat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.   Israeli forces conducted 30 incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank. 28 civilians, including 7 children, was arrested. 10 of these civilians, including 6 children, were arrested in occupied Jerusalem. Israeli Attacks on Fishermen in the Gaza Sea

15 July 2015   Israeli Naval forces continued to carry out attacks on Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip during the reporting period (01-30 June 2015), including 10 shooting incidents that resulted in wounding 4 Palestinian fishermen while sailing off Beit Lahia shore in the north of the Gaza Strip, in addition to damaging fishing equipment and tools. Gaza Strip: Attacks in the border areas and their consequences

   Following disengagement from the Gaza Strip in September 2005, Israel unilaterally and illegally established a so-called “buffer zone”, an area prohibited to Palestinians along the land and sea borders of the Gaza Strip. The precise area designated by Israel as a “buffer zone” is not clear and this Israeli policy is typically enforced with live fire. Israeli Attacks on Fishermen in the Gaza Sea

09 June 2015   Israeli Naval forces continued to carry out attacks on Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip during the reporting period[1] (01-31 May 2015), including 27 shooting incidents and 2 shelling incidents that resulted in wounding 7 Palestinian fishermen while sailing off Beit Lahia shore in addition to the damage of a fishing nets and equipment. PCHR and IDMC Issue Report on Israeli Violations in Access Restricted Areas

 Ref: 06/2014   On 01 February 2014, the report "Under Fire" issued by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre  (IDMC) was launched in London. The report addresses the Israeli violations in Access Restricted Areas (ARA) in the Gaza Strip. It highlights the suffering experienced by civilians, farmers and fishermen due to restrictions imposed on the freedom of movement in those areas, the frequent targeting of civilians with live ammunition, house demolitions and restrictions imposed on fishing areas. PCHR launches 2012 Annual Report
