PCHR Calls on Egyptian Authorities to Release Fisherman Yaser Al-Za’zou’

Ref: 107/2020 Date: 18 October 2020 Time: 08:30 GMT The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) calls upon the Egyptian authorities to release Fisherman Yaser al- Za’zou’, the sole survivor among his siblings who were killed by Egyptian naval forces’ fire against a Palestinian fishing boat that crossed the Palestinian-Egyptian water boundaries and entered the Egyptian regional water  on 25 September 2020 that resulted in the killing of fishermen Hasan al- Za’zou’ and his brother Mahmoud. Palestinian Shot Dead and His Brother Wounded in Gunfire Shooting in Yatta Village, Hebron

Field updates Palestinian citizen was shot and killed, and his brother wounded in a family dispute in Yatta village, south of Hebron. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) is deeply concerned over the increasing manifestations of social violence phenomenon and misuse of weapons in family disputes.
