Child Dies Due to Travel Restrictions, PCHR Calls for Travel Mechanism for Gaza Strip Patients for Treatment Abroad

Ref: 58/2020 Date: 23 June 2020 Time: 13:00 GMT   On Monday, 22 June 2020, a child suffering from heart disease died due to his inability to travel through Beit Hanoun "Erez"  Crossing for treatment in al-Maqassed Hospital in occupied East Jerusalem, despite obtaining a medical referral and financial  coverage from the Palestinian Ministry of Health (MOH). PCHR Concludes Training Course on “Human Rights and Mechanisms to Promote Right to Health”

  Ref: 27/2020 Date: 23 June 2020 On Tuesday, 16 June 2020, The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) concluded a training course on “Human Rights and Mechanisms to Promote Right to Health,” attended by 25 doctors and nurses working in various departments at  Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, as the Centre resumes its training activities which were interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
