PCHR Welcomes the Response of the Prosecution of the International Criminal Court to the Observations of Amici Curiae, Legal Representatives of Victims, and States.

Ref:42/2020 On 30 April 2020, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) submitted a 60-page document to the Pre-Trial Chamber I responding to the observations of amici curiae, legal representatives of victims, and States concerning the situation in the State of Palestine. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) welcomes the Prosecutor’s re-affirmation of her position that there is a reasonable basis to initiate an investigation into the situation in Palestine and that the Court has territorial jurisdiction over the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip.
