IOF Abuses the Body of Palestinian in a Humiliating and Degrading Manner

Ref: 14/2020 On Sunday, 23 February 2020, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and injured Palestinian civilians while trying to rescue and evacuate two persons who were targeted by IOF in eastern Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip. PCHR Calls upon the Attorney General to Open an Investigation into Death of a Person Detained by ISS

Ref: 13/2020 Issam Ahmed al-Sa’afeen (40), from al-Buraij refugee camp in Central Gaza, was pronounced dead this morning, 23 February 2020 at al-Shifaa Hospital in Gaza City. Al-Sa’afeen was referred to the hospital yesterday, 22 February 2020, by the Internal Security Service (ISS) after being held in prison for the past month. HAYA Joint Programme to Eliminate Violence against Women: PCHR Concludes Five Training Courses for Educational Institutions’ Staff

     Ref: 08/2020 The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) concluded the first five training courses under the HAYA Joint Programme "Awareness-Raising and Capacity Building for Educational Institutions’ Staff to Eliminate Violence against Women." These training courses were conducted in cooperation with United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to train teachers working in UNRWA schools across the Gaza Strip. On 19 January 2020, PCHR began the first training course. Each course lasted twenty-five-hours in duration over the course of five days and was attended by 140 participants, including 87 female teachers and a female participation rate of 66 per cent.
