At approximately 17:00 on Saturday, 31 March 2007 Omar Idris Meskawi (18, from Qalqilya) was killed by a bullet to the head during a dispute with others over money.

At approximately 12:00 on Sunday, 1 April 2007, three people were injured in an armed clash between El-Masri and Abu Taha clans in Khan Yunis refugee camp:

They were taken to the European Hospital for treatment, where their injuries were listed as moderate.

At approximately 19:00 on Sunday, 1 April 2007, an armed clash broke out between El-Masri and Shurrab clans in the center of Khan Yunis. Seven members of both clans and bystanders were injured:

-         Husam Munir Ahmad El-Agha (13) was injured by shrapnel in the left hand;

It is noted that all are residents of Khan Yunis, except Abu Dahrouj who is from Deir El-Balah.

PCHR is very concerned over the continued falling of victims in armed clan and personal disputes, which is a continuation of the security chaos plaguing the OPT. The Centre reiterates the call to the PNA, represented by the Attorney-General, to seriously investigate these crimes and prosecute the perpetrators.
